So…I’m thinking…

I’m thinking I might have hypothyroidism or something. I can’t jump to conclusions (as I am spectacular at doing that) but to be honest, I haven’t really lost any substantial amount of weight. I have been eating relatively clean…so I don’t get why this weight isn’t coming off. It’s not like I am trying to lose the last ten. I have 40lbs I gotta lose! I have been gymin’ it every day for the past 2.5 weeks and eating well and nothing is going on. I keep yo-yoing up and down within a 6lb range. WTF?!

This is really frustrating.

I need to lose this weight. If I can’t - I will feel miserable forever! What do I do short of starving myself!? Which I can’t do because I love food too much. Maybe I should invest in a food scale? I don’t know. This is getting super frustrating. Even if I eat nothing all day because I have been crazy busy - exercise and then have a big bowl of pasta - still nothing happens. And it isn’t like I am consuming 3,500 a day or more! Not like I did before!! So what gives!?!

I know it is quite early in the weight loss journey - and this is the longest I have stuck with it in a long time. It is just so frustrating - as I want to start seeing results - that will get me more motivated.

ANY ONE HAVE ANY TIPS!?!

Just had to.

What’s the stupidest thing you’ve done in an attempt to lose weight?
Me:

Not eat.

I luv ur blog & c u've been strugglin' a bit but r back on track. Was wondering who ur fitness inspirations are?
Me:

Back on track! Yehhh buddeh.

Fitness inspirations…Ava Cowan, Tosca Reno, Jamie Eason, Amber Elizabeth, Nicole Adamo, Zuzana Light, Lisa-Marie…the list is endless! I also love Kate Moss…and even though she isn’t the most ideal role model body-wise…I still try and think “How would she eat” or “What would she eat”. The woman eats…I mean, there is no doubt about that…but I can guarantee you that she eats clean and not like shit.

I love your blog!! How long did it take you to lose 15lbs??
Me:

Thank you!

15lbs…I would say about 3 weeks…this is just by cutting booze out entirely as I used to be a bit of a party animal so I am trying to stay away from the wine as much as I can. Alcohol has a lot of empty calories and no nutritional value…also, when you drink alcohol and then eat a big meal your body throws the food on the backburner…as alcohol is a poison and your body tries to get rid of that first and foremost…leaving a lot of the food that you ate turn to fat. Thus the “beer belly” or people that even gain the “freshmen 15”. You need to realize how your body processes all that you put into your mouth. Thus the saying that your body isn’t a garbage can. So don’t treat it like one or you’ll end up looking like a dumpster. Lol.

But I did eat a bit here and there - foods that aren’t entirely healthy. I am still working on eating clean and eating more frequently. That can get tricky as I was never a frequent eater or breakfast eater to begin with. These are things I am working on.
